　　Hello! My name is Shiona (She-own-nah). I am an American who grew up in the state of Iowa. I completed my education in 2002. My English teacher encouraged me for many years to become a writer because of my strong writing skills. However, I always used to play school with my five younger brothers. I always had a passion for teaching others since I was a young girl. I love reading, writing, and listening to music from the 80’s. Classical novels are my favorite. My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I think reading is a great way to learn new things, improve your vocabulary, and create your own unique writing style. I love to travel and have been to many different places, such as the Taj Mahal. It one of the seven greatest wonders of the world! I love interacting with students all around the world. I think tutoring is fun! I get to speak with students from different cultures, and I have learned a lot. Sharing my knowledge about English has allowed me to meet new people.
